The company revealed its agreement with the Tamil Nadu government to establish a manufacturing facility worth Rs 9,000 crore, expected to generate employment for around 5,000 individuals. Following the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), teams from guidance, Tamil Nadu’s agency for investment promotion and facilitation, and Tata Motors Group will collaborate to advance this initiative, as stated in a press release by the company. This marks the company’s second plant in South India, with its first being located in Dharwad, Karnataka.
