Today, March 2nd, 2024, the Indian stock exchanges BSE and NSE are conducting a special two-part trading session for testing purposes only. This is not a regular trading day.
Session Timings:
Session 1: 9:15 AM IST to 10:00 AM IST
Session 2: 11:30 AM IST to 12:30 PM IST
Purpose:
This session aims to assess the preparedness of the stock exchanges to handle unexpected situations and ensure a smooth transition to the disaster recovery site in case of an emergency.
Important to Note:
Regular trading hours will resume on Monday, March 4th, 2024.
Trades executed during this special session will be settled on Monday, March 4th, 2024.
Circuit filters for all stocks will be revised to 5% during this session.
