My AngelOne Account is showing ZERO early morning - Bug Not Fixed Since 2023

Earlier this morning, around 4:30 AM, I noticed that the balance in my AngelOne account was showing as zero. Concerned, I looked into this issue and came across a post from 2023 where another user reported the exact same problem. To my surprise, I also found a response from AngelOne at the time, assuring that the issue would be resolved and the amount would reappear before trading hours.

However, today is February 4, 2025, and it appears this issue remains unresolved. I wanted to bring this to your attention kindly, as it is concerning to encounter the same problem after such a long time.

Your trading balance could be showing as zero or negative for a few reasons:

  1. The settlement amount for your daily market-to-market losses may have been deducted from your free cash rather than your margin.
  2. Annual Maintenance Charges, DP Charges, or other such charges might have been deducted from your account without sufficient funds available.
  3. You may have used your collateral margin to take positions.

If you are seeing this issue during pre-market hours (12 to 9 AM), it could be due to internal systems getting refreshed. It’s advisable to check again after 9 AM.

You can check all additions and deductions from your balance by visiting the Account → Statements/Ledger section on your Angel One app. Please note that the Ledger for today’s transactions will be updated the next day.
