Juniper Hotels Ltd witnessed a rise in its stock value during morning trading on February 29. This increase followed a bulk deal where Norges Bank, acting on behalf of the Government Pension Fund Global, acquired 21.7 lakh equity shares, representing a 0.98 percent stake in the luxury hotel chain. The transaction took place at an average price of Rs 398.15 per share.
In total, 50 lakh shares of the company were traded on both BSE and NSE combined throughout the day. On the NSE, the shares were trading 9 percent higher at Rs 437.95. As a result, the market capitalization of the company saw a significant boost, reaching Rs 9,767.8 crore.
