Collateral margin rule

Could you please tell me the rule of collateral margin for INTRADAY ( not overnight).
Can i use 100% non-cash margin for intraday?
Or i will have to pay any penalty for not maintaining 50-50 rule for intraday ?

Hi @das.subha93 welcome to the community!

The rule for collateral margin for intraday trading is that you are required to ensure that a minimum of 50% of the total margin required from a client is in the form of cash or cash equivalents. The remaining 50% of the margin can be in the form of pledged securities or cash equivalents or cash. If you do not maintain the 50-50 rule for intraday trading, you may be charged a penalty for margin shortfall.
