TCS shares close in the green on partnering with Lexmark

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been chosen by Lexmark, a leading provider of imaging and IoT solutions, as a strategic partner to help change its business applications, to accelerate its move to the cloud, and scale up its innovation programme. Lexmark has set out on a mission to evolve into a market leader in cloud-enabled imaging and IoT technologies through ongoing innovation across corporate solutions. In keeping with this strategy, Lexmark chose TCS to be its partner in a key cloud-first transformation project.

Lexmark’s complicated on-premises workloads are being transferred to a public cloud by the corporation, which is also developing a new, flexible cloud operating model that makes use of automation and infrastructure-as-code. To streamline business operations and improve user experience across the finance, order to cash, and supply chain departments, TCS is developing a new future-ready digital core driven by SAP S4/HANA as part of this transition.

In order to monitor crucial business operations end-to-end throughout the operations stack, including apps, data, infrastructure, and network, the corporation will create a cutting-edge, business-aware command centre. To enable service delivery across business processes that is hyper-automated and driven by business outcomes, the command centre will make use of TCS’ Machine First strategy. To improve customer experience, increase company agility, and foster operational resilience, the new operating model will gradually offer self-help and self-healing capabilities for proactive and predictive operations.
