This Integrated Waste to Energy Project represents Maharashtra's first such venture into waste-to-energy conversion and signifies a major milestone in the region's sustainable development journey. Developed under the Design, Build, Operate, and Transfer (DBOT) model on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis, the project's concession period spans 21 years, with the company’s step-down subsidiary, Antony Lara Renewable Energy leading the initiative. The company invested in about Rs 247 crore for the project.
Recently, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary AG Enviro Infra Projects Private Limited secured an order worth Rs 1,024 crore. The order involves the collection, transportation, processing, and disposal of construction & demolition waste in the western division of Mumbai.
Antony Waste Handling Cell is engaged in the business of mechanical power sweeping of roads, collection and transportation of waste, and waste to energy projects, and undertakes the designing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the integrated waste management facility in Kanjurmarg, Mumbai. The company is one of the top five players in the Indian municipal waste management industry with a track record of 20 years.
