Open HUF dmat account

Hello,
Is there a different process to open a HUF DMAT account ? or we have to use the same process.
Also can we use the same phone number that we have for personal account for it or can it be linked together with our personal account ? Any pointers will be appreciated.

Hi Piyush, thanks for posting your query, yes the HUF DMAT account opening process is slightly different, also to answer your query, you can use the same phone number that you have for your personal account and for your HUF DMAT account, but the HUF DMAT account cannot be linked to your personal account.

Here are the steps that you can follow:

  1. Go to the Angel One website or app and click on the “Open Account” tab.
  2. Select “HUF DMAT Account” from the list of account types.
  3. Enter your personal details, such as your name, address, and PAN number.
  4. Enter the details of the HUF, such as the name of the Karta, the date of registration, and the HUF PAN number.
  5. Upload the required documents, such as the HUF registration certificate and the Karta’s PAN card.
