My stock became inactive

I bought a harshil RE stock at CMP of 0.37 and today the stock has became inactive after continuous hitting of lower circuit… Now what to do ?

Shares might be shown as inactive in your portfolio for a few reasons:

  1. The stock could be temporarily suspended. You can check the status of the security on the BSE website to find out the reason for suspension.
  2. The stock could be delisted from the exchange, in which case you would receive the money in your bank account.
  3. If there is a rights issue, your RE shares can be inactive in your portfolio until they are converted to your original shares.
  4. In the case of a company demerger, the new stock may be inactive for a few days but will eventually be activated.
