Charts 101 AMA with Angel One | 20th August | 03:30 PM - 06:30 PM

Hey @Swing.Is.King we’re sorry for this inconvenience caused.
You can access your saved chart layouts across both the Angel One web and mobile app. These layouts remain intact even if you clear your device cache or switch between TradingView and ChartIQ. We’re also working on a solution to sync unsaved layouts across multiple devices, ensuring they aren’t lost when clearing your device cache.

i m also facing same issue

Hey @bpz to answer both your questions:

  1. How can I set particular one chart set up to open ,when I click on new chart (trade one)
A: We have a Pop-Out feature available for Watchlist View Charts on our web platform. You can maintain different charts with their respective settings (indicators, tools, etc.) on each pop-out view, even after refreshing the tab. The Pop-Out feature is currently not available in Trade-One

  2. How can I see volume in numbers for a particular time frame?
A: To read volumes on any chart, users can hold the crosshair over the desired candle. This will display the associated volume for that candle in the selected timeframe.

But No reply from Angel one

Try this: open any chart, turn off the ‘Auto’ mode, and then switch the time frame to 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or any other interval. You’ll see that ‘Auto’ mode reactivates itself despite being turned off.

when i change the time frame then its shows latest prices. is it same happening with you?

@ANKITSHAH In our mobile app, any tool that you draw on a symbol gets retained on that symbol. Any indicator that you apply gets retained on all symbols. Would it be possible to share video recording for this error here - https://tinyurl.com/yehe6xau it will be easier for us to debug it

We understand the inconvenience this might cause. We are working on a solution to improve this experience.

It is not at all practical to save each and every drawing. We need auto save feature like tradingview then only the platform will be useful for drawing. Without auto save the all are not useful.

Many times I find -
1)My charts are not responsice on PC but in cellphone they are good.
2) Price in phone charts and charts on on PC shows difference.
3) multiple times I need to refresh the chart using Control+R and then also it take good amount of time to refresh
4) Above is not because of Net speed as I have 100MBPS and Other Dmat charts work Okay.

  1. Morning Before starting I always perform “Clear Browsing History” Also I tried by Clean Disc tool. but no Improvement.
I found this mainly happens when there are two window charts and multiple charts. (apperantly when there are Pivots in Charts)

@Sajuk4179 @vedant_shelat to understand this issue more accurately, we’ll need your device configuration. So, we’re reaching out to you in your DMs.

Many are using tablet for viewing charts, so the multiple chart view will be good if it available in app.

i am using lenovo thinkpad, i3 4 gb ram. i am facing this issue since last 2-3 days only, till now it was working perfectly fine.

i have same issue and reported. wailing for response

what is the purpose of this meeting, i am unable to see in live. any body come in live and guide us how to see the charts

We understand that saving every layout and template manually is not feasible from a memory optimisation and effort perspective. Therefore, we are working on solutions to address this pain point. In the meantime, you can follow the suggested route in our previous response to you to continue your trading experience without interruption.

Since I’m not comfortable using mobile apps, I prefer working in a web browser. However, none of the tools or annotations I apply seem to stay saved—everything disappears

Point noted @hellorahees. We will evaluate this and get back to you.

We might plan something like this in the future. Will keep you updated on the same on this community.
Today, in case you have any questions regarding the Charts feature in Angel One, you can raise it here.

Is it possible to switch to TradingView charts instead of the current tick-by-tick charts? I’m looking for a different charting experience and TradingView’s features might be a better fit for my needs.
